As most of you know, Leo the dog has massive emounts of hair b/c of the Great Pyranese that is in him. It has been incredibly hot here lately so Leo has been miserable. How would you like to hang out in 80+ degree temps in a thick fur coat?? So we decided that we should get him shaved. I don't think he's too happy about it. I don't think I'm too happy about it. To put it mildly he looks....um....like a freak.
This is our beautiful dog before...
And this is him after........
I don't think I'll be taking him to get shaved anymore. Sorry Leo.

Did you know that dogs stay cool through their mouths. Though their mouths are black, they act as a cooling mechanism by releasing sweat, which is also why their breath stinks so badly. Or at least that's what some freaky dog-loving kid told me in second grade. If that holds true, though, you made your dog look like a tard for no reason. Sorry.
Yes, Justin, panting helps dogs stay cool, but their coats actually do have something to do with it as well. And, you're a big nerd.
aaah! he looks way different. oh, little leo.
Leo looks like he has cancer...and he looks like a totally different dog. it's crazy.
Poor Leo. He looks like a different dog now and a lot smaller too!! A lot of people shave their dogs in the summer and then let their thick coat grow back for the winter months. I'm sure it has to help :)
Hey, it was second grade, man.
Hey, now Leo looks like his owner Jeremy with his shaved head. Now you two can get your hair buzzed together!
