The New Edge

The Colts have selected their new running back Joseph Addai. I was really worried when they couldn't resign James to a new contract. I've done a little study on Joseph and he looks like he could be really similar to James. So, hopefully he'll keep the colts competitive. Maybe we'll go undefeated like the '72 Dolphins this year! Fat chance, I know...

Jessica has been really busy with work. And I gave her my cold. So, I've had control of the blog...hence all the sports stuff. We got some bushes and some new flowers. When it stops raining we'll post some pics.

Leo has been a pain. He keeps digging up our flowers and bulbs. We laid down a bunch of mulch and Mindy bought us some liquid fence, so hopefully we'll keep him out of it.

That's all our way. Have a great week!

The Indiana Pacers Rock!

Well, I know that no one here really follows the NBA, but that's ok. I do. And I love the Indiana Pacers. Everyone has written them off. But, tonight they showed everyone that they are a force to be reckoned with. They just beat the Nets 107-95 to take a 2-1 lead in the first round of the playoffs. And I'm glad I live in Indiana and get WB4 on Suscom Cable. So, I got to see the whole thing. GO PACERS!!!!

Someone needs to tell Paula that crack is a drug

So I just watched American Idol on Tivo and I really think that Paula has a little something else in the Coke cup. Chris did a great job but was Paula jumping up and down and acting like a drunk person really necessary??? By the way, Jeremy just voted for his lovely Katharine McPhee but Chris is so much better than her! (Too bad I'm too lazy to vote.)

Earl the Pearl

Today I preached at Mt. Healthy Christian Home. They were so awesome! I met the coolest guy there. After introducing myself to him he said, "It's nice to meet you Jeremy, they call me Earl the Pearl." I hope I get a cool nickname when I move into a retirement home. What nickname do you think they would give me? (By the way, Jessica read this and said, "I'm never moving into a retirement home!" Little does she know I've already put the house up for sale. HAHAHAHAHAHA)

A happier day

Today was a better day, the weather is nice and I got my flowers planted. Just in case I didn't bore you enough with the post from yesterday, here are some pics of the flowers. I planted some dahlia bulbs that my mom gave me, I don't even know what they will look like. We are also attempting petunias and I think, gardenias?? I can't remember what they are called!! We also got a hanging basket with freesia, I've never seen an actual freesia plant before. So who would like take bets on how long it either takes me to kill them or Leo to destroy them???

Work, stress, the mall and flowers

So I know this may be boring to some of you but I need to vent about my day. My job stresses me out!!! People are mean and I got semi-yelled at twice! And both times were NOT MY FAULT!!! (And I'm not just saying that either, they really weren't). ARRRGGHH!!! It got so bad that I had to shut the door to my office and cry. I'm such a baby! So, my day just got worse and worse and then I ended up working late, go figure.
Then for my own personal therapy, I decided to go to the mall (Jeremy is out of town tonight) and I went to my favorite place...New York and Co. And I found some cool stuff and that made me happy.
Then I went to Lowes to buy more flowers b/c we only have like two left in our flower garden. I was still in my work clothes and it had just rained so everything was dirty and wet. So I looked pretty ridiculous considering that I was wandering around in circles not sure what to buy and I was up digging through the dirt and stuff to find the right flowers. I also had a freakishly small cart and couldn't squeeze everything in it. Then I got this guy that worked there to help me pick out the right size of potting soil for my ginormous pot that I was getting for the porch and it was so big that I couldn't lift it out of the cart into the car! I looked so stupid and the guy saw me and had to come out to the parking lot and help. On top of all of this chaos I managed to spend $67 on flowers and stuff for the stinkin yard!!!
So then I called muy friend Tiffany and she made me feel better about my roller coaster stressful day. She's awesome and she always knows how to make me feel better.
So you would think that things would be quiet since Jeremy is gone (he is helping his sister move) but I still can't shut my mind off about work. How do you do that when you do what I do for a living? Does anyone know? Sometimes I get so frustrated with where I work b/c juggling these cases and all of the programs they are involved in gets in the way of real therapy and that just wears me down. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Pics to come at our latest attempt at gardening!

What the heck are these things?

O.K. So I think it is becoming more and more obvious that Jeremy and I don't have a clue when it comes to gardening. Last fall we went to a greenhouse and bought what we were told were tulips. Well, I don't know much about flowers but these things don't look like tulips. We can't figure out what they are. Does anyone out there know? Can you help us? Or maybe they are tulips and we are just flippin idiots. I don't know but here they are.

Crazy times at the Easter Egg Hunt

Hey everyone! A lot of you know that I was in charge of this huge community wide Easter Egg Hunt for our church and I thought I would post some pics and talk about the funness that was the Easter Egg Hunt. First of all, we had 2,000 eggs to stuff and hide. Thanks to Chrissy, Sheryl, and Mindy I didn't have to stuff all 2,000 by myself! Also we had planned on about 48 kids being there and I had gift bags full of goodies for each one. Well....God is great and presented me with a very good problem to have.....we had 76 kids show up!!!!!! That's a lot for our little church! So we were scrambling to handle that amount of kids but everything worked out and we had plenty of eggs for everyone and had some emergency make shift gift bags made up in the nick of time. I hope that their families will know that we are in their community and hopefully will come to our service tomorrow (Easter). Needless to say, I never want to see another easter egg as long as I live.
This is a small group of the people in the younger kids section of the hunt.

This is Haley, she seriously wanted the candy in those eggs!

This is Jeremy letting kids attack him with caution tape. Isn't he so nice??

My Biggest Fear

Ok, so my biggest fear is tornadoes. This is a picture of what's on weather.com right now. Please, if you have children ask them to look away...

You can ask Jessica, whenever there is a Thunderstorm Warning or anything like that, I am glued to the T.V. and/or the computer constantly checking for updates. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT TIME!!! I have checked at 4am (and did this morning). So, right now we have a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and I have stopped typing four times to check outside to make sure Doppler didn't miss the Tornado. Anyways, there's a glimpse into my phobia. Hope you enjoyed...

Spring Projects

Hi! Its Jeremy here. Jessica has done all the blogging here recently so I thought I would take a day to share with you what's going on our way. We have a couple spring projects that I am working on. First, we need grass!!! Here's Leo next to a couple bare spots in our yard...

We also need to fix our ditch. It has a water problem. We are afraid that we'll have mosquito problems because of our water problems. Notice also the freakishly big bare spot in our beautiful yard!

On a positive note. Jessica's daffodils are doing great! She'll hopefully post her tulips when they finally bloom. Right now they are sprouting.

Let me know if you have any ideas for my horrible yard. I'm going to start working on it after Easter, unless my neighbors start protesting earlier :-) Come over some time if you are bored and I'll put you to work.

Go Jeremy, It's Your Birthday

Here are the pics of Jeremy's birthday. A fun time was had by all.

Doesn't he look so excited????

Here is everyone hanging out. Can anyone spot Bekah showing her talents to the world?

Here is Leo playing cards with B.J., Jessie, and Blake. He has mad skills that you guys didn't even know about.

Frazzled

Hey everyone. Life has felt very crazy lately. We have a big community wide Easter Egg Hunt coming up at church the day before Easter and so I have been going nuts getting everything together. I stayed up last night and stuffed about 150 eggs or so. Also Friday is Jeremy's birthday (26 yeah!) and we are having people over so I've also been getting ready for that. I have also been working late every day this week and so, hence the blog title, I am FRAZZLED!!!!! Does anyone else ever wish that they would get sick for a few days and be forced to take time off from work and life in general? I need a vacation!!!!!

We're baaaacckkk!!!

We made it back from W.V. safely. We had very nice weather which is strange for W.V. We are used to seeing nothing but snow there. Not much else to say (I guess you were right Blake).
